For all interested visitors, the memorial offers a public tour on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. and the first Sunday of every month at 11:00 a.m. For groups who want to find out more and delve deeper into the history of the place, there is a wide range of special tours, projects, business games, and role-playing games.
Do you teach at a school and want to find out more about our offers for schools? You are welcome to arrange teacher training with us. There is an opportunity to discuss focal points for individual tours and project days and to get to know the biographies of contemporary witnesses, who can guide you through the memorial if you wish. The memorial is a recognized place of learning. For Saxon school groups, the Free State of Saxony covers the travel and educational program costs.
Anyone who wants to find the traces of the Peaceful Revolution in the city center can follow the Revolutionary Trail “We are the people! Dresden Revolutionary Path 1989”. The city tour tells the story of the special Dresden path in the autumn of 1989 at the central locations.
